Our Story

Adventure With Aloha

As you’ve probably already guessed, we love the Big Island and its awe-inspiring landscapes and are dedicated to building a sustainable future. That’s why we launched Hawaii Zipline & Hiking Tours in 2011: to share our passion for the island’s natural resources and rich cultural heritage through authentic, small-group adventures.

True, we’ve never met a person who hated visiting Hawaii, and chances are you probably haven’t either. It is paradise, after all. But so many visitors simply stick to the shorelines and turquoise waters and miss out on the island’s stunning interior. Let us take you there! Get away from the crowds to a 300-acre private paradise of expansive, fragrant agricultural fields, exclusive waterfalls, and lush jungle.

Come and let us share the REAL Hawaii with you.

Committed to a Sustainable Future

Without working to preserve our lands for future generations, we’ll lose much of Hawaii’s natural beauty and unique flora and fauna. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Hawai‘i Forest Institute and are working with the support of our community to plant non-invasive plant species.

So far, we’ve already planted hundreds of culturally significant, non-invasive canoe plants such as Kalo (taro), ‘Awapuhi (shampoo ginger), and ‘Ōlena (turmeric). And through hands-on community planting days and clean-up events, we’ve also helped educate youth groups on Hawai‘i Island, fostering the next generation of environmental stewards.
